🌩️Thor Devotional Tips🌩️

Thor is the god of thunder, strength, storms, hallowing, and the protection of man. Husband to Sif and son of Jord and Odin. These are my personal associations with Thor and how I personally honor him. This is what personally works for me, if you have something negative to say keep it to yourself.

  • Embrace your passions, the things that start a fire in your soul.
  • Always work on bettering yourself and strengthening your will.
  • Decorate your home in reds, golds, blues, hammers, goats, lightening art, or oak wood.
  • Volunteer in community projects or out reach programs.
  •  Honor him on Thursday.
  • Sit near an open window when the rain is falling.
  • Light incense or candles of oak, dragon’s blood, juniper, or pine.
  • Go to the gym, lift weights, do some form of exercise.
  • Plant acorns, thistle, oak moss, potatoes, oak, marigolds, pumpkins, or avens in your garden.
  • Share your weed, liquor, beer, and food with friends on occasion. It’s good to celebrate.
  • Take care of yourself and of your body.
  • Use the runes Ansuz, Ehwaz, Ingwaz, Raidho, and Thurisaz in your practice oraltar.
  • Stand up for those in need and for what you believe in.
  • Go camping or for a hike!
  • Use the crystals carnelian, iron, lodestone, red agate, jade, tigers eye and steel in your altar or practice.
  • When the skies roar with thunder, sing along with him.
  • Constantly push yourself to new heights whether it’s spiritually, mentally, or physically.
  • Play video games! I’ve noticed he likes Smite(as Thor), God of War(2018), and Skyrim.
  • Be there for your loved ones as someone they can count on and talk too.
  • Learn how to build a fire, pitch a tent, some basic survival stuff.
  • Leave offerings of rain water.
